Putting Things In Perspective

This was a long day for Daddy. After being trapped in the house all weekend, today he had to venture out to work. This weekend was full of relaxation and chasing behind CJ. Daddy and CJ both are hyper and do not do well cooped up in a house for to long. This is just another reason we know that CJ is the direct offspring of her daddy. Last night during every live performance at the Video Music Video awards, CJ wanted to dance with her father at that very moment. Now Daddy enjoyed it for the first two songs but after song six and seven we definitely knew who the elder was and that was Daddy.

So after being worn out by his daughter all weekend Daddy slept well last night and then had to get up this morning for work. Now all weekend Daddy heard that the area around his job was flooded. The problem was that the job never communicated with the staff workers. So Daddy depended on friends from the area and his students to tell him which way to go. They were a great help as well.

So daddy finally arrived to work after a long commute. The day was productive and he was pleasant throughout. He left a little early to beat traffic back home. Once he got there his baby CJ greeted him with her usual smile and enthusiasm. No matter what, after a long day at work CJ can take all her Daddy's problems away! She is my joy!

Now that becomes a problem when it is bedtime. Daddy can not stand to hear CJ become hysterical. He likes peace and quiet sometimes and when she is left alone and asked to go to bed she goes crazy. However if Daddy goes in the room She will at least stop crying and stomping and then lay down. She will not go to sleep tho but Daddy is at ease.

Mommy says Daddy has to get tough and he knows that but tonight and most nights Daddy just does not want to hear it. We will have to pray for him some tolerance. So now Daddy will be investigating a few bedtime techniques to weaken CJ's fury. Daddy has a lot going on in the next few weeks where he must stay composed and focused. CJ going to bed quietly would help tremendously. God will handle it all and lead Daddy through this most interesting time. Pray for CJ's bedtime antics and Daddy's strength and perseverance. Be blessed all!
