Tonight it is all about Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Daddy and CJ's team the Lakers must win to be the champions. We have a lot at stake. We do not want to endure the pain an jeering that will come with a Laker loss. I just wish it was under better conditions. Daddy is battling a fever, Mommy made CJ go to sleep. If Daddy were well he would have put up a fight but he just let it go. Right now the game is up and down and I am very uneasy. Hopefully tings will change for the better, of course for LA.
I was well earlier but after 5:00pm it seems as though the fever said, "Hello Sir." So I ate some soup for dinner and have been filling up with water. i took my medication and now I am trying to sweat it all out. I have a slight headache now so maybe the tie game is good so I would not get to excited.
So now with a half left in the Finals I will go back to the game now. You all pray for Daddy tonight, pray for healing. We know prayer changes things, people, and situations!
NOTE TO C.J.: Princess I do not know how the game will end up right now, our team needs to shoot a lot better. I will whisper the outcome to you if we win. if we lose I am sure you will hear about it loud and clear at the babysitter's house tomorrow morning.
This blog will chronicle the journey between a new father and his daughter. It will highlight the ups and the downs, and all the lessons learned. It is my prayer that "C.J. and Me" will be an inspiration to all that the bond between father and daughter can be strong. It will also show the world that there are REAL men who help develop stellar women who will go on and shake up the world. Enjoy the journey and look daily to see what new and exciting things are going on in our lives!

Midway Recap
Good afternoon folks. I am feeling a lot better today. I am not back to 100% but the process is coming a long nicely. Today I was able to enjoy an entire day alone. I literally did nothing all day long. Of course I watched Maury and read Mediatakeout.com, but other than that I sat in the house and relaxed. I needed a day like this. i am sure most of you can understand that.
Mommy called a few times, I guess she was bored at work and hating on the fact that I was home a little bit. Daddy was not rude though, he spoke with Mommy and listened to her as long as she wanted him too. When she was tired of talking to me it was her who decided to hang up, this was on both calls too. CJ went to the sitter, and it was not until the end of the day when we picked her up that Daddy noticed she had on the wrong colors. She is wearer Celtic green on Game Seven day of the NBA 2010 Finals. Not to worry Daddy has on his 2009 Championship shirt bringing about that true Laker spirit. Tonight is going to be one of the best games in NBA history and I hope the outcome is favorable to my side! A Laker Repeat is what daddy desires.
So now Cj and Daddy are hanging out a little earlier than usual today. Mommy is at the salon getting all dolled up. Daddy looks like a black wolf, he will tackle that problem tomorrow. he can not go around representing CJ in that manner. Right now I am watching her entertain herself with some of the toys and educational games she has. I am watching to see how she operates and handles them all. Looking at that hand eyes coordination and her frustration levels. She is doing OK at this point too. I was also elected by arbitrary decision of Mommy to prepare her bag for tomorrow. The bottles are already washed and I am about to refill her food supply. I do not want anything to get in the way of the game tonight so I am handling all fatherly responsibilities now.
So I must go to get things done but I did want to follow up from my short post last night. thank you for your prayers and keep praying. It really does change things, people, and situations! Talk to you all later tonight.
