April 20, 2010 was another one of those days that Daddy did not see much of C.J. He woke her up and dressed her as usual, but by the time he arrived home, it was time for her evening bath. She was read to and prayed with and then Mommy put her to bed.
Now Mommy should know by now that C.J. usually wants to spend a few moments with her Daddy. So C.J. did what she normally does to get Daddy's attention...she began to make lots and lots of noise. Of course Daddy went to get her and then he sat and watched a few moments of the Celtics versus Heat game together with his Princess. It was not long before C.J. was fighting her sleep then her head rested on Daddy's chest. Very shortly after that, she was sound asleep.
It was one moment in time but it was so special. My Princess refused to go to sleep without resting a bit with her Daddy at the end of a long day. This moment meant a lot and I pray it is the foundations of many more to come. So C.J. has already prayed, Daddy will pray, you all keep praying too. Prayer changes things, people, and situations!
