So it is 12:51am on November 21, 2011 as I begin to write. I should be sleep but I am not. It has been a long, long, time since I have blogged last. So much has gone on in the lives of CJ and her Daddy. I knew there would come a time were Daddy would not be able to post a daily entry but life continues and Daddy had to make adjustments. These past few months have been interesting. Learning that we were pregnant again and that CJ would be a big sister. Daddy being promoted on the job but having to perform three jobs until a new person was hired, which to date has not happened. The family having to move in one day and still currently living out of boxes and bags. Daddy was called to higher ministry which made him have to study for a test and more meetings. Daddy following football and CJ tagging along. Changes in Mommy's family dynamic and this was all in the past two and a half months. I did not even include the babysitter issues which caused Mommy and Daddy both any sleepless nights. Not to mention being out of the house commuting from 6:30am sometimes until 6:30pm. And when was the last time we sat down to a home cooked meal? Yes folks, a lot has been going on but God has brought us through it all.
Now for CJ this has been an exciting time. CJ now has her own room which is currently being decorated and set-up especially for her. Her room with be her learning center, domain, castle, retreat, and everything else she wants it to be. Hopefully by years end she will be all set up. CJ has also been a part of daycare center visitation. She enjoyed one place and was OK with another. One Daddy does not care how she felt because she will not be going there. It was filthy, it stunk, and they changed kids in the hallway. Not Daddy's cup of tea. At this point we think CJ will remain with the private sitter until September. We have not found much we like and what we do like comes with a hefty price tag.
So it is now 1:30am an Daddy is still awake and about to round out this blog. Cj still never ceases to amaze me. She is now counting forward and backward. She recognizes the number 1-9 and can identify them in different places. She want Daddy to read the same Dora book over and over again. She sings nursery rhymes alone and she speaks in complete sentences. She is doing quite well for a kid whose parents are not around her fifty percent of the time. We wish we were but God will handle that as he sees fit. Welp, I will end on that note today. until the next time which I pray is a lot sooner that later, be blessed!
