Oh, CJ!

Well this morning when Daddy woke up he knew he had a marathon in front of him. Three worship experiences, 8am, 11am, and 4pm. He stared the day and the face and welcomed it though because he knew it would be three opportunities to celebrate God! The bad thing about all of this was that Daddy had to run this marathon alone. He would have no CJ to keep him going and no Mommy to go to sleep on him along the way. Mommy made the decision to pull out of the race earlier in the weekend because she felt CJ would break away from the course and make the race more grueling than it had to be.

So Daddy set out on his race and he must say all stages of the race were filled with great air. At all of the worship experiences God showed out! The word from the preachers was just what the doctor ordered. So while at the house for dinner, (the house refers to Daddy's childhood home, where is family still resides) Cj's great-grandmother wanted to make sure she sent CJ a treat. She prepared CJ an entire bag of grapes and of course she saw to it that Mommy had her weekly servings of macaroni and cheese.

When Daddy arrived home he found CJ looking a mess. She had just a shirt on and food all over her face. She had tore up the house and looked for something else to get into. CJ is a very funny child, so she saw me eating sherbert and she wanted some so she came over and leaned over my cup. I asked her to sit down and she did so immediately. I then shared and then she decided she wanted it at a faster rate than I could supply. I had to back her little butt up and send her on her way.

The night is ending with her fighting sleep of course. It is not as bad as usual but she is doing her nightly fussing. SO she rest now for the day tomorrow. What does Daddy have in store for her? We shall see if it be God's will! So, it seems as if I have not said this to you all in a long time but, Keep praying! Prayer changes things, people, and situations.

Note to CJ: These last few weeks have been very trying for Daddy. When the going gets tough we remain prayed up as we do daily and we continue to let God fight our battles. That way we know we can not lose.
