Daddy is a huge supporter of the saying, "You are in a certain place at a certain for a particular reason." This weekend was filled with proof positive. This weekend was, Share Jesus NOW!, at our church. We were suppose to have a preacher from Chicago but he fell ill and we found another preacher to fill his place and boy were we blessed. Daddy and CJ arrived back home around 11:30pm but Daddy was not tired. Then today the Youth Rally took place. CJ chickened out and only received one day of good preaching but Daddy went back for more. Today the atomosphere was filled with the spirit as well. It was a great weekend not only for the preaching and Worship but more importantly that two souls came to know Christ and the pardon of their sins.
So CJ and Daddy did not spend much time together today. On the ride home she made a lot of noise but as the driver I can not interact with her like I would want too. Soon though, that car seat will be turned around and we will enjoy great conversation.
Even though CJ only participated in part of it. This weekend will have a direct impact upon her life. Anytime Daddy has the opportunity to learn more and be convicted by the spirit, it brings about revival in his life. This in turn makes him a better man, husband, father, mentor and friend. Grace and mercy have brought Daddy from a long way and they both continue to lead him to where God wants him to be. My day is complete now because my Princess just gave me a kiss. I told her she made her Daddy feel so special. So folks keep praying that God continues to build Daddy up so he can be the Rock that CJ will need throughout her trials and tribulations. We believe that prayer changes things, people, and situations.
