The Aftermath

The weekend came to an end and the work we is a day old. The question is, how did CJ do? Well this morning we had sometime to spare so I put a barrette in her hair that matched her outfit. You heard correctly people, Daddy does hair. So this morning of course we were running late. Monday's are very difficult to get going after along weekend. Nevertheless we all got out to our different destinations. CJ back to the sitter who was happy to have her back, Mommy to work, and Daddy was back at his hour and then some long commute.

Mommy sent me a text midway the morning to tell me that CJ was doing fine. That was music to my ears I was a little worried about her. I prayed that she would be back to herself after her bout with an illness and she is back to about 90%, if you would ask me. The only thing that made today unbearable was the fact that CJ and I had to deal with the bashing of the Lakers. Everyone wants them to lose so when the sitter knew Daddy would be there she made sure to remind me that we are done if we do not win on Tuesday night.

CJ and I did share a dance this evening. We had the music playing and Daddy decided to cut the rug with his princess and she accepted my hand. We danced around to "I'll Write A Song For You" by Daddy's favorite band, Earth, Wind and Fire. Mommy took some pictures as Daddy and CJ sung to each other and CJ whistled a bit to the tune. Finally we urged Mommy to join us. Daddy loves these special moments and always has a twinkle in his eye thanking God for the blessing he has given him in CJ Johnson. So I am going to call it quits for tonight. You all make sure you pray. Prayer changes things, people, and situations!
